Log from Previous Chapters:Chapter 1Here's some info and pictures of that random cameo of the Ginjirou Yamazaki character. Ginjirou Yamazaki is the main protagonist in the manga of the same name, Kouha Ginjirou『硬派銀次郎』(こうはぎんじろう) "Diehard Ginjirou / Rough'n'Tough Ginjirou." The series was created by Hiroshi Motomiya, a manga author and very influential man within the Shonen genre. Motomiya was Yoshihiro's instructor and superior, when Yoshihiro started out as his assistant; Yoshihiro's art style is very heavily inspired by Motomiya's, as shown in pictures below of Motomiya's work. Kouha Ginjirou was followed by a sequel, both being first serialized in the Monthly Shounen Jump." The sequel was simply called "Ginjirou Yamazaki," and lasted for five volumes, while "Kouha Ginjirou" lasted for nine. Bambi was the dog that Ginjirou owned. Picture of Bambi and Ginjirou from the first seriesJump Comics coverArt style of Ginjirou, from MotomiyaGinjirou Yamazaki volumesKouha Ginjirou volumes below the top Ginjirou Yamazaki seriesThis chapter is all kinds of amazing. Like I have no clue what was going on, and I love it. Toshio, you are Team Rocket levels, now, with your pitfall traps. This is your life. How does it feel? Also git rekt on so many levels, dude. I really hope that's not the end of Bruiser, because it'd be rather lame if it was. Kit, I feel like Toshio is SSY's Anzai... Or is Anzai BnF's Toshio? Hmmm, the plot thickens :S I agree with Kyo though: it would be sad if it was the end of Bruiser. I gotta say I was a little surprised - not that Bruiser lost, but that he got so seriously hurt. And... I love Gin... Make him come back with his 'not a single fuck was given'-attitude. M-92 Mantis, about the Kouha Ginjirou series, is it a manly man series about a manly man who does manly things? Huh, the Gin-chan stuff sure was random and out of place. ; I kind of like him though...? So, yeah, Toshio is mentally unraveling pretty quickly, isn't he? I feel bad for Bruiser, having such a shitty crazy owner. He's just following his trainer's orders. Chapter 2It's fine... I'm fine... But seriously, what? These guys are as bad as Toshio. All ethics on how to hunt aside, (I won't get into how inaccurate of a Matagi portrayal this is, either) who the hell sicks their knife-weilding dog on some kid's, and then just stands there watching him cry while trying to pull the knife out of his dog? I don't care if the dad gave him medicine, he still just stood there while his crazy son violently bullied a child and severely injured his dog in front of him. I feel like this is going overboard for what seems to just be the "rival on the side" role. Mild spoiler that everyone probably knows because of Hakugin no Teiou: And we're supposed to like these characters, later? I wish I had much more to say other than how cute the baby fox was, but I don't really. Aww, the poor baby fox... These two new guys are real assholes. :c Kit, I had those same feelings when typesetting T_T the fox kit was too cute! And watching Yamato having the knife pulled out was pretty painful o.o goddamn! And wait, those two are meant to become good guys? Wut, lol. ...this chapter would make an excellent animated short. The kind that looks cute and cuddly on the cover but is actually full of heartbreak, you know the type. Just sayin'. Kenichi is a real dick, first with that business in the mountains and then he coming to sell those pelts. Like he hadn't noticed Yamato outside and perfectly well known whose house it was, and that last remark about being sick of eating just fox meat... Duuuuude. I get that they are hunters (twisted ones maybe but..) and so he wouldn't see killing foxes as a problem, but Kenichi just sounds like that sociopath kid that gleefully announces “Oh I ate your father's heart because you said you didn't like him that one time!” ...this chapter would make an excellent animated short. Things get even weirder... I'm just done with typesetting the next chapter... Things get even weirder... What a tease you are. I legit remember nothing that's gonna happen, so this is quite the anticipation. Chapter 3So if your sibling is a total dick and a sociopathic animal torturer, raised by the worst stereotypes of hunters who get it off on killing baby animals, you should not stop them from killing said baby animals because they are related to you. Great moral lesson there, Yoshi. Well if there's something good to be said about Kenichi, at least he jumped to cover his dog from an attacking bear, and then was ready to jump from a ledge after the dog. So at least he cares about something other than just being a dick. And pops finally has some sense in him rather than just stand there and go “well let's see what happens” like last chapter. Thanks for the hard work, as usual! Durango, can we talk about how the old pops is like 'please befriend Kenichi, even though he hurt your dog and murdered baby animals'. Yoshi, you just made a recipe on how to not make friends.... Good LORD, I know I say this a lot during Yoshi stuff, but-- those poor bears! The poor little cub! God, Kenichi and Hayate are awful. I guess Kenichi's father isn't 100% horrible, risking his life for Yamato, but his son is just nasty. Ryou sure agrees to be their friend pretty easily... I hope they redeem themselves at least a LITTLE. Also, this was clearly the 'prototype' scene for the one with the bear cubs in GNG. Interesting that Yoshi reuses the same scenario like that... << Good LORD, I know I say this a lot during Yoshi stuff, but-- those poor bears! The poor little cub! God, Kenichi and Hayate are awful. Not quite sure on how to feel about him shamelessly reusing like that And yeeearh, I was not too impressed by this chapter. I wish Ryou had been more 'hell no' with the friendship thing, but hopefully... There will be some form of redemption. Intresting to read. And see the similarities with GNG here. Ace "I know you two hate each other, and Kenichi came to gloat at your house with the fox pelts and he made remarks about how tired he was eating them. But consider this: Your dogs are from the same litter. That's enough to make you two friends, isn't it?"

Interesting end... I wonder what will happen to Hayate now...
Also, Doberman and Mastiff mix... interesting. I'm curious to see how Blackie develop. Gotta say my heart bleeds for Bruiser...

Now that was a fun chapter! Black has finally made his debut and his fight against Hayate was pretty interesting. Also I liked how Toshio invited Kenichi over and then moment later asks him to just leave, followed by a dramatic reveal of why Bruiser is so scared. Not to forget Kenichi totally dissing where Toshio's family puts their money.
"Who gives a damn about ethics, when you're trying to kill each other?" is actually pretty solid question in this situation, but funny enough Kenichi doesn't seem to think so after Blackie's special move.

Aw, poor Bruiser. And since when do 'all animals hate bright metal,' Yoshi?
Haha, I'd feel worse for Hayate and Kenichi if they hadn't been so horrible up until now. I wonder if they'll give Hayate implants or something crazy like that.

And yeeeah Zeki.... I don't think Yoshi knows about magpies...

I'm amazed Bruiser's face isn't permanently disfigured from the Jaw Crash, but at least Yamato left some psychological trauma behind. I wish I felt worse for Hayate and his people, but I kind of don't.
