Yep, those are official. There's also a little cup with the same design, out there.

The only merchandise I have cannot even really be considered merchandise. It was a knock-off Akame plush I got off amazon: He might be fake, but I still like him. I am hoping to get actual plushies sometime, anyone know good places to look out for them?

I'd be careful buying knock-offs; it only encourages the makers to produce more. Official Ginga plushies are extremely expensive and sold rarely through eBay. You can find them on other websites like FutagoShop (but not recommended) and Urumi.fi (their most expensive one being Akame for 950,00€).

At the time I had no idea it was a fake sadly. And dang, that is ridiculous, looks like I will never get my hands on them then.

Well my collection grew quite a bit since last I posted so I'm going to do a little update. I bought these off a person from eBay. They were all new and still in their plastic when they came. GDW first addition Volumes 45, 48, and 56-58. GNG first addition Volumes. 6-8. I bought these off eBay as well. All in pretty good condition. My two ginga figures. Hiro and Tesshin. I got Hiro with my GDW manga which the seller had given me as a free gift. He came with the original box. I required Tesshin from M-92 Mantis. A Fan-made cup I got from eBay. I thought it was beyond cool and couldn't resist buying it. (Don't look at my ugly hand >.<) Stupid phone turned on my flash and made it lighter than it really is. A Fan-made Akatora figure. I bought it only recently from someone on GB. He's very nice. (Ignore my boxing gloves in the background.) I finally got my hands on one. An GDW English Volume 3! It's a little beat up, but I was able to get it at a cheap price. A Fan-made Weed and Hougen Pens! They both work and are fun to use. Bought them both with the Akatora figure off GB. And my old BnF Volume 1 and 2 which I also got from M-92 Mantis. //Edit: Also if anyone knows where I can purchase volume 1 of Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion. I'd really appreciate it. I'm having a hard time finding that volume everywhere I look it's either not there or sold with 5 other of it's volumes or sometimes it's just flat out to expensive, so if you know where I can get one or have one you might want to get rid of. I'd really like that. Thanks for reading!

I got this made the other day. It isn't the best quality, but I really wanted a Ginga phone case. I may go back and get another with a more compatible image. (As apparently this one was difficult to render for the case.) My Ginga merch is actually pretty limited. I have the original set of GDW (minus #33, and #34). I have the first edition of GNG (minus #2), the second edition of GNG, and the third edition (pocket) of GNG. (The pocket edition is by far my favourite.)

Since I finally have all my manga out of storage, here is my Ginga collection in full. I only have Japanese books, no Finnish/English ones. Also, the mangas are the extent of my collection. (Besides the phone case I had made.) Here is my 1st edition (all besides vol. 2), and my 3rd edition (aka. pocket edition) of GNG. The pocket edition is my favourite of all three of my editions. Here is the spines of the 2nd edition. It is like the pocket edition with only 10 books in total. I actually think they are the exact same in terms of the content of each vol. Because I don't think anyone has showed them yet, here are the covers for the 2nd edition. (I really like the vol. 4 cover, which probably says a lot about me personally.) Also because I'm a goof, and if you can't pick out the numbers, the cover with Nori/Gin/Ben, is actually vol. 9. The one with Gin/Gohei is the final vol. All of the 2nd editions have the same cover under their slipcover, which is the following. Here is my GDW collection + Ginga Densetsu Riki, and Weed Gaiden [at least I think that's what it's called]. I originally thought I lost my copies of the Monkey Arc, but they turned up in my old highschool napsack. \o/ School's important kiddos, it may help you find lost manga!Unfortunately I'm not all too proud of the condition of my GDW books. :[ I used to toss them around a bit, and they have some tears in places. Also while taking these pictures I noticed something with the 1st edition of GNG. Volumes 15 & 16 (the ones with Retsuga and Gin leaping) actually seem to go together as one picture! You can tell with the placement of the clouds that they match up. Even if Gin's side is a bit lighter (though that might just be the age wear on my own copy?)

My collection of Ginga always changes since I rarely ever keep any of it. I figured I'd show what I have right now before it's all sold off or goes with me to my new house at the end of the year. Only permanent Ginga things I really have as my own are the Hougen and Sniper figurines, an official Yamato colored bookmark, and my third edition and rare Shounen Jump edition of Kacchuu no Senshi Gamu. The rest are for scanning purposes or selling purposes. Here's the collection of the manga spines, mainly because the First BIG Special omnibuses look really pretty. Those are going to Kit once I'm done scanning them all. The SSY volume and the giant Shounen Jump Gamu are wrapped in their original packaging and covered to keep them safe. The entire collection I have right now is: Shounen Jump No. 19 1987 Golden Wolf special omnibus edition, which we already have a thread on. The next is the Shounen Jump Gamu with the colored pages, I've also taken pictures of all its niceties. The SSY is volume 8, it's for scanning purposes since the RAWs are missing the cover, and potentially other pages, so once we reach volume 8 it'll be used for that purpose, then sold. The third edition Gamu volume is the first Ginga merchandise I've ever permanently kept. Hougen and Sniper's figurines are in the middle. Below the SSY volume is an official colored SSY bookmark that Kit gave to me, with Yamato and Blue Tiger. Strangely enough, Blue Tiger is brown in this, but a bluish grey on the official spine image in the manga, like his name. Below Gamu is a GDW postcard from the Finnish Con that Yoshi had participated in. It's got an announcement on the back about GDR and the Con itself. I had a dozen of them that I added as freebies to Ginga purchases but this is the last one I have, I'll actually scan it later so everyone can see it. Next up are the BIG Specials 1 through 6. Kit's buying these from me when I've scanned them all for GS. I really love the color schemes, shading, and overall details on these, and the covers, spine and pages themselves are very sturdy and feel nice, not fragile. And then, last and least, are the GDA volumes 2 from 5. These are for scanning purposes only, until I can finally sell them. I did not add my Amakakeru Toki volumes 2 and 3 because those were not written by Yoshi, he only illustrated them. My sister also has two figurines that I gave her of her favorite characters, Hiro and P4, but they've been packed so no pictures for now.

Finally got around to taking pics of my collection. All have been resized, so Right Click > View Image to see full size. Unofficial Gin beanie, a GDW postcard from the Finnish con, and BnF vols 3 & 4 (1st edition). Had to put the hat on the sheep, cuz... Look at that judgmental stare. Official SSY bookmarks. They come in the bunko (pocket paperback) editions. I believe you get a randomized one, and the entire series gives you eight in total. (At least that's what I got.) Since 2 were duplicates, they have been given to friends. I'm looking into getting them laminated. GNG bunko edition - complete. GDW bunko edition - incomplete. These come with a few pages in color, per volume, and the runs through the Hougen arc, at 22 volumes. GDR bunko and Shueisha Home Remix KnSG. (Both are the complete story.) A sparse few vols from the GDW 1st edition. SSY bunko editon - complete. These came with 8 bookmarks. Bookshelf so you can see the sizes and such.

Thanks @bucciamarcia! Finally dug my GNG and GDW figurines out of the boxes I hadn't unpacked, yet. So here they are: Jerome and Hougen from the GDW figures. Jerome was a gag gift from Rascal, so he doesn't have a stand. So he and Hougen often end up... cuddling. Don't tell Sneeper. I won Hougen in an art contest, on another site. Small white Kurotora and large brown Ben from the GNG figures. Small white Gin and Akakabuto (model A) from GNG. All four, to compare sizes. That awkward moment when all the dogs are bigger than the giant, man-eating demon bear... The GNG figures all have derpy faces, (especially Gin )but ultimately I like them a lot more than all the GDW ones. You may not be able to tell from the pics, but the details on their proportions and stuff are pretty true to the breed, which is really nice. Also the "chest muscles" actually look like dog shoulders, which I'm pretty sure is what Yoshi's were always meant to be. This makes me so happy, and I can't explain why.
