Well... It is a weird story. Everything in there is tragic, and the ending is just happy and funny (a ninja dog with cowboy hat... lol).

I finally managed to read this after what must have been months of “yeah I should read that.” Had a hard time keeping a straight face during this because I just kept thinking about “Kid believe it!” and “...anyway Waiasu slow.” Still not over those!  Okay, moving on. I can't believe that the boy is actually named Kid. I just... wow. Gotta love the father's logic: “He's going to grow up in America during a time where all non-white folks are treated harshly, so imma just name him Kid. That'll surely help him blend in.” The mother's fate is quite terrifying to think about, because you just know they didn't just take her to kill her... Poor Kid thinking all those years that he might have a chance to see her again. Still, Kid turned out surprisingly levelheaded despite being raised by Moon, who doesn't seem to have anything else in mind than “all must die harrrharrrharrr!!” But yeah, this story was pretty random but could have been interesting if it had been longer. I liked the western setting so this wasn't completely lost on me despite some of the more 'ehhh' aspects of it! Anyway...  Nice. :lookofshock: |

this was different then some of the other stories. im glad moon didnt end up dead.

Moon-Kid has been completely rebooted, with new typesetting, cleaning, and accents given to all the Westerners while keeping the original context of translations. It kinda changes up the entire story, too, and I hope it makes dialogue sound less jarring now that everyone fits the Old West style. Enjoy!
