The subbed version is now up! Everyone give their thanks to Possk, for applying the subtitles so brilliantly! The video is saved in an .avi file. If this format does not work for you, or the download has a problem, please let us know! Reuploaded on February 14th, 2015.

The remastered limited edition version this is advertizing I have never seen for sale. If you did find it in a place that ships to you and takes Paypal to convert your currency, I cannot even fathom how expensive it would be. Heck, GDW's regular out-of-print box set tends to go for around $400-500, and that anime isn't nearly as popular, in any country. Special version: I guess no one wants to part with it, when this is the alternative... Even with the awkward art of the special one, and the creepy Akakabuto with the deformed mouth covered in lipstick, it's better than the horrible new Yoshi art pasted on the regular one, imo. Having manga art on the anime makes no sense, anyway. (Sorry, these were the only pictures I could find with the cover and back. Had to do a Japanese search and those were still the only ones that were the DVD and not just the cover/back art, itself. They are resized, though, so just right click>view image for regular sizes.)

Haha, great trailer. Thanks!
Does anyone know if any of the Ginga DVDs had any special features?

Haha, great trailer. Thanks! Does anyone know if any of the Ginga DVDs had any special features? IIII don't think so, for the GNG ones. They just came with this and the booklet with character and animation info, and an interview with Yoshi. Maybe something like textless openings and endings. I honestly can't find a picture of the backs that are large and HD enough to read... I believe the GDW ones come with some video interviews on the disks, though. I can't remember if they're on the DVDs, but they do exist.

Thanks! Yes, I heard that the GDW ones came with some kind of interview once, but I haven't been able to confirm it, I wonder if someone has them somewhere.

Hey there! First time posting here but, I tried to download this but neither of the links work anymore ^^'
Also feel I should point out that the "special version" advertising pictured up there is actually the advertising for the same box set with the not-so-great cover. The advertising was never an advert for the box artwork - the artwork was used on the booklet on the inside of the box, and sadly that was all. Though websites will sometimes still use the advert artwork when selling the DVD, which gives the false impression that there are two different DVD sets. There is only one Japanese box (:

I don't have the commercial, anymore, but M-92 Mantis does, and should be on to post it, a bit later. I knew I couldn't find it! Thank you, that clears up so much confusion! I saw both around, online, and I was told there were two, so I guess I was under the wrong impression. Thanks again for clearing that up.

Awesome, thank you for re-uploading it!
There's always been confusion about the box set for some reason, and it's probably down to that piece of advertising. For anyone wishing to get a copy, here's some lil factoids about it: "Remastered" sadly does not mean it is in HD. Someone managed to upscale an episode to Blu-Ray quality and upload it to youtube a while back, which got peoples hopes up I think haha. "Limited Edition Press" is not as limited as you might think. This simply means they've done one pressing of the set (one production run). So, they could have made a few thousand, and I doubt supply will ever run out at the price tag :|
