Both these links will give you a .zip file. If a link is dead or broken, please let us know here so we can fix it immediately. Thank you! Reuploaded on May 14th, 2015-- I have also fixed all of the chapter image titles in this volume, which I will be doing to all of our scanlations for an update, in the future. Enjoy! -- Despite this being one of my favorite stories, I cannot defend how awfully short and lazy this ending is. The build-up to all of this led to what you can hardly call a battle, Rando being all for friendship and then instantly saying "nevermind, Gama's right, I need to jump off", and then Gama dying in one short stroke. Then suddenly everyone in the station is dead because of some ravens..? Even with Hayabusa's powers, a bunch of ravens killing super-powered telekinetic dogs just to end the story is low. Yoshi couldn't even be bothered to remember that Kusakage has beady eyes, but he gave him Shiba's eyes instead. Lame ending, but all in all, I still love this story for being so bizarre, I just wish there had been way more to it with more ganin battles and characters, I didn't ever want to read this for a history lesson.

(I'm only going to comment on the last chap, since I've said my piece on the others.) Also, agreed. What is this ending... All that buildup and Gama supposedly has an ungodly amount of Kijinbari, but he is killed by BIRDS and it's over in 2 seconds? The whole army was killed by birds?! I call bullshit - this is not Alfred Hitchcock. And then it's over without any proper wrap-up because Yoshi was bored of it, already, or something. Rando accurately mirrors my own face, in the last panel. Juushirou casually bandaging his hacked off foot while Gama monologues, Gamu's silent judgmental staring, and Gama's increasingly annoyed looks when he realized no one was paying attention to him had me cracking up, though.

For some reason, my computer is telling me that Windows can't open the download of this file. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

I'm getting this issue, too... I'm not sure what's gone wrong with it, exactly, but I'll reupload the folder. Thanks for the heads-up! This should take five minutes to fix.
Edit: The server for our scanlation file site is down, for now... so I uploaded this volume zip to my dropbox account. I tested it and it worked this time.

Might as well talk about the last three chapters in this same post so I won't be spamming too much again. Chapter 14*pumps fist* Yeah! Shiba was alive too! But how did they make that Kansuke mask? Can I just go ahead and assume they peeled Kansuke's face off? Yeah, I'm going to do that, no need for any other explanation. Chapter 15I was right to admire Tsuchigumo's amazing helmet a while back. Dude himself turned out to be... the shit. Chapter 16Alright yeah, that was a pretty damn stupid ending. Rando was making a huge mental speech about his and Gamu's shared abilities while they were climbing up toward Gama, but as soon as Gama said that Rando was a burden, the boy was like "omg yeah I am, forget what I was thinking about 12 seconds ago" and quit the fight. And Rando was nursed with dog milk tho. That's something. The moral of the story is once again: Do not mess with birds.

Abrupt ending is abrupt.
It's been a while since I've read the first book, but overall Gamu was alright. I appreciate the translation of course, but it's just not my favorite story,

Abrupt ending is abrupt.
It's been a while since I've read the first book, but overall Gamu was alright. I appreciate the translation of course, but it's just not my favorite story, I completely understand how people would walk out of it with scrunched up faces and confused grunts. It's pretty crazy, really, (and dat ending...) but I appreciate that it tried to have a backstory for why things were the way they were. It wasn't a great one, and incomplete, but the fact that it was there is nice in a Yoshi story. Gama is where is all fell flat, honestly. He was built up to be charismatic enough to have broken up what was supposedly the strongest clan in existence at the time, by recruiting the younger members under his command, and strong enough to command them, with his ridiculous amount of kijinbari. If I were to imply - and in no way do I want anyone to take this as fact - based on his comment about humans being a burden, him being the first ganin to rule a clan, and no other motivation given, I'd say he wanted ganin to be free of human rule. This would give him and Gamu reason to be at odds, since Gamu believes in serving them, and would be interesting because it means he wasn't truly bad. Rando's speech, and line about never wanting to be a burden to Gamu enhances this. He thought of him like a brother - not a servant. So Gamu and Gama's relationship with humans was like yin and yang, if you wanna be poetic about it. But Yoshi wanted to play it off the the generic "hahaha, I'm power hungry! I don't need another reason!" villain, for whatever reason. And that made all this buildup collapse under its own weight and destroyed anything the story had going for it. I'll admit and acknowledge that. Still, as far as Yoshi stories go, the fact that the buildup and backstory was there at all is enough to rank it as one of my favs. Besides... C'mon. Samurai-ninja-psychic dogs? That's sexy. Don't deny it.

M-92 Mantis shirazoku informed me that neither download was working for them, so I'm adding this note here so that can be checked on. For now, I've uploaded it to Sendspace in case anyone else needs it: Link

I'm not sure why both links decided not to work, but I've updated both with new files. Sorry about that.

It's not working for me. :/ It downloads fine but instead of un-zipping, it just duplicates the zip? Does anyone know how what's going on?

How so? Are you telling i to extract ito a folder, or all the pages into wherever the zip has been plcaed?

What I've been doing for the other zips is as follows: 1. Download 2. Open file in browser; Extract it 3. Viola
But with this one it just comes up 'failed' and duplicates itself in my documents.
