Chapter Logs:Chapter 9I honestly wish I had more to say about this chapter besides how much I laughed at this face:  But truly, it was just more set-up. Which is fine, but it's been like an entire volume and the set-up doesn't seem to be wrapping up much. Which is a bit iffy, considering this is only a 5 volume series... I don't mean to be negative, but I just hope this story actually gets going, soon, since I can't keep filling up these comments with just funny pictures, forever.  On the bright side, Momochi and his glorious 'stache seem to be moving us on a little bit. It's kind of weird that he put who is essentially the main character right now out of the main plot, since having ganin isn't going to count for too much if the clan dies, and from what we've been hearing, their chances would go way up if the ganin helped fight. Still, I hope the upcoming battle is actually a major plot point, and Ryoujun being the focus doesn't essentially take us out of it, now that he's been kicked out.
Chapter 10The chapter was good until the whole 'The great Hakutaka" Towards the end. As cruel as it sounds I did enjoy seeing a human try to fight off sword weilding dogs.  Thanks for the chapter scan team. I liked this chapter, no show of Hakutaka, just mentioned as well as our Akame. And that works. ^^ I'm struggling to find something to comment from this chapter, but even with the attacks nothing seems to be really happening. I don't remember if it was established earlier that the people can't understand the dogs, but this was still nice to hear now. Thanks for the hardwork! I was a little surprised about that as well, like... I thought they understood each other, so that threw me off. Sadamitsu is a good guy. I would've liked to read a story of his past with Ouzaru! Its nice to see a Ginga father who truly cares for his family.  Thanks for yet another great chapter scan team!  Agreed, Ryan! Ouzaru has consistently showed that he cares about Kotobuki and the puppies, and it's something that's really refreshing from Ginga fathers. I'm actually really pleased that this chapter addressed something I have been wondering about: how do the dogs get their blades back to their sheaths. It would've been really awkward, and it's cool to hear that they aren't naturally able to do that. But I have a foggy memory of one dog placing their own blade away... Maybe that was in Gamu.

The two-page essay milestone has finally been translated! It was a doozy, it's not even very interesting, and of course has nothing to do with Ginga, but people wanted it so there you go. I believe each volume has a sort of essay and if they are just as pointless as this one, I will not be translating them since no one cares about GDA, much less Yoshi's ramblings.
