So I've been searching around because I LOVE languages, and finding all the stuff I could! I thought I'd compile a list. --- Vietnamese:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Chú Chó Có Nghĩa Thai:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - ไอ้เขี้ยวเงิน Byakuren no Fang - เซโร่ ยอดนักสู้ Ginga Densetsu Weed - ไอ้เขียวเงิน ภาค Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion - ไอ้เขี้ยวเงิน Weed Orion Kacchuu no Senshi Gamu - เขี้ยวนรกสังหาร Ginga no Inutachi/Shounen to Inu - ตำนานเหล่านักสู้ของเขี้ยวเงิน Compilation of short stories including Ginga no Inutachi/Shounen to Inu and Boku no Inu, Boku no Uiido - คู่หู คู่โฮ่ง Tosaou - สังเวียนแค้น Shiroi Senshi Yamato - ยามาโต้ ยอดสุนัขนักสู้ They have the Ginga Densetsu Weed Gaiden, too, as well as Lassie, but I could only find the pictures, not the names. Korean:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - 명견실버 (anime), 은아 흐르는 별 실버 (manga - thank you, Kai!) Ginga Densetsu Weed - 은아전설 위드 Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion - 은아전설 위드 오리온 Shiroi Senshi Yamato - 하얀 전사 리키 (Thank you, 乃ĿŌŌƉȲ₭ȲŌŪƧĦĪṜŌ!) Chinese:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - 銀牙-虎紋獵犬物語 Ginga Densetsu Weed - 銀牙傳說WEED (The covers have Weed in English, but 韋德 is his Chinese spelling) Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion - 銀牙傳說ORION (The covers have both Weed and Orion in English, but Orion's name I believe is written 猎户座 in the actual manga) Swedish:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin/Silver Fang Ginga Densetsu Weed - Ginga Densetsu Weed/Silver Fangs son Finnish:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Hopeanuoli Ginga Densetsu Weed - WEED (It literally just seems to say "Weed" on the covers...) Ginga Densetsu Weed Gaiden - (Same as Japanese) Hungarian:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Ezüst Nyíl Danish:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Hundehvalpen Silver Ginga Densetsu Weed - Weed, Silver Fang's søn Norwegian:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Silver Fang --- And these were just what I could find! If you know any others, please list them! Edit: Also, I forgot to mention this at the time of posting, but it's very much welcomed for you to run these through Google Translate and post the hilarious results, here. Real translations are also welcome.

Thanks for the list! I'd love to have some Korean mangas, but that's not going to happen.
Edit: Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - 명견실버
실버 = Sil-beo
I'm surprised they didn't use the Korean word for Silver...I'm pretty sure they have one. No idea what 명견 (myeong-gyeon) means, but maybe I'll translate it later.
위드 = Wi-deu 오리온 = O-ri-on
I'm done with my Korean spam now...

It's not spam, don't worry. I forgot to mention translations are welcome. Translations I know from being able to read the kanji or from foreign friends: Chinese GNG - Silver Fang: The Tale of a Tiger Hound Chinese GDW/GDWO - Silver Fang Legend Weed/Orion Finnish GNG - Silver Arrow Hungarian GNG - Silver Arrow

I thought GNG was 은아 흐르는 별 실버 in Korean, unless 명견실버 just refers to the anime, in which case the manga is just the Japanese title in Korean.

Gah, you're right! I'll add both. Edit: I found two mangas that also seem to be heavily inspired by (that's putting it nicely) Yoshi's works. Watermarks have been left intact, as I don't own the images!One is a Korean manga about a Great Dane fighting dog named Ben. 이겨라 벤 (Win, Ben!) The other is a Vietnamese comic that I have no clue what it's about. It claims to be by Yoshihiro Takahashi, but... we all know it's not. ผจญภัยแดนโหด (Dan's Savage Adventure!)

I got some Thai translations of titles for everyone.
Thai: Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - ไอ้เขี้ยวเงิน - Silver Fang
Byakuren no Fang - เซโร่ ยอดนักสู้ - Zero the Great Fighter
Ginga Densetsu Weed - ตำนานไอ้เขี้ยวเงิน ภาค - The Legend of Silver Fang (ภาค means "arc" . The sentence is incomplete, the name of the "arc" is missing but....)
Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion - ไอ้เขี้ยวเงิน Weed Orion - I think the name is Orion, so it's like the above one with an addition of "Orion Arc" to them (The Legend of Silver Fang: Weed Orion).
Kacchuu no Senshi Gamu - เขี้ยวนรกสังหาร - Hell Fang
Ginga no Inutachi/Shounen to Inu - ตำนานเหล่านักสู้ของเขี้ยวเงิน - The Legend of Silver Fang's fighters
Tosaou - สังเวียนแค้น - Ring(boxing stadium) of vengeance
Shiroi Senshi Yamato - ยามาโต้ ยอดสุนัขนักสู้ -Loosely translated as Yamato the great fighter, but since he's a dog, Thai add the word dog in front of "fighter"

Kacchuu no Senshi Gamu - เขี้ยวนรกสังหาร - Hell Fang That's so hilariously awesome while not having anything to do with the story :icamehappyplz: Also, Boxing Stadium of Vengeance needs to happen SO HARD.

That's okay, my friend told me that it's not uncommon for Thai to do that, and they don't reccomend searching the manga using the titles in Thai. They gave the example of Stephen King's Carrie. In Thai, it's titled, " The Creepy Girl".

Oh god, Klo, you are amazing... I love how adding "dog" before "fighter" just makes it sound like Yamato is someone who loves to beat up dogs, to English speakers. Well, I guess he is, but... you know what I mean. I agree with Rascal's favorites of "Hell Fang" and "Ring of Vengeance," LOL. Hmmm... That's weird that GDW and GDWO are incomplete sentences... I couldn't find any extra symbols to the titles. On this hilarious note, running the Vietnamese title of GNG through Google Translate yielded the amazing result of "Mean Dog."

I present to you all Korean Yamato! 하얀 전사 리키Romanization: Ha-yan cheon-sa ri-k'iTranslation 1: White Soldier Riki Translation 2: White Fighter Riki Yes...you read that right. His name is Riki (or Rik'i if you wanna get technical.) Now I don't know why this is the way it is. Maybe "yamato" means something weird in Korean, and that's why they chose to change it. Like Gin is long, and not silver, but I guess I'll have to do more research.

Swedish:Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Silver Fang Ginga Densetsu Weed - Silver Fang's Son I'm just being a nitpicky Nancy, but there shouldn't be an apostrophe/single quotation mark after Fang; in Swedish we don't use them to denote possession (or really at all, except for in names/for quotations). And I think that it should simply be Weed - Silver Fangs son (oh yeah, we don't capitalise much at all in titles, only names), although I suppose that technically it would be Ginga Densetsu Weed - Silver Fangs son since the covers have kanji on them... covers.box.sk/newsimg/dvdmov/max1160438006-front-cover.jpgThe fact that they chose to write 'Silver Fangs son' and not 'Silvers son' is understandable, since Silver Fang is much more recognisable than just Silver, and 'Silver Fang' has more of a...punch to it, but it makes no sense seeing as Gin's never literally called 'Silver Fang' in the dub (as far as I know), and it just makes me cringe LOL. Also, most of the dvd covers say Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin - Silver Fang, not too sure why they add the : after the Ginga. s2.discshop.se/img/front_large/37757/silver_fang_special_edition_5_disc_box.jpgNo big deal obviously, but you know how anything language related gets me rambling. And the GNG thing was just an interesting detail I decided to bring up. x3 And this is a great topic - BRING ON THE LANGUAGE LOVE!

I can't remember where I got the name for Swedish, but it might've been an English site that 'fixed' it. Thanks, I'll change it! No need to apologize! I want to get these correct, if possible, in case anyone wants to Brodyquest off to track them down or something. And I admittedly know zilch as far as Scandinavian languages go.

I just think it's hilarious that GNG in Danish literally translates to 'the puppy Silver' and GDW translates to 'Silver's son, Weed'.
