I know GB did a vague map on their site, but it never really helped me figure out where things were. I thought we could compile a list that showed where various Prefectures, Provinces, etc. were.
These are not owned by me.

Ohu Mountains
Mountain range in the Touhoku Region of Japan. Stretches from Aomori Prefecture (a little south of it on a Peninsula) to the Northern ridge of the Kanto region, at the Nasu volcanoes. It's highest peak is Mt. Iwate, located in Iwate prefecture - it is an active volcano. At the moment, I assume Gin and co. live somewhere in Akita.


Also a note on Northern/Southern Alps:
North Alps: Hida Mountains
Central Alps: Kiso Mountains
Southern Alps: Akaishi Mountains

It seems the ohu mountains aren't that big - but they are the longest range. I'm sure Yoshi muffs this up, I remember the anime Hougen said Gin was from the 'North Alps'. But he's not.

UPDATE:
I will be attempting to make maps for as many of Yoshi's works as possible. With large complex series, like GDW, I might make separate maps for each arc.

GNG Map
A note on the GNG map;
-Mutsu is a name of an old Japanese Province, before Japan was divided into Prefectures. I decided to make the Mutsu's group all of the historical 'Mutsu'.
-On the 'official' GNG map, it shows the Kai Bros. being in the prefecture to the left of Moss, but how Ben went there first makes little sense to me. So Moss, Kais, and Ben are all from the same place.
-Ohu I based on the Ohu mountain range, with the capital being in Akita, where Gajou is.
- Shikoku is marked off based on where Gin's group met their various males.
