Thank you Fanta, it was a fascinating read! From the little I know about GDWO, I agree with Tora: after what Masamune's done, letting him go free isn't a very smart choice. |

Thanks for the translation, Fanta! Awesome work!  Man, Ouu is giving such mixed messages in GDWO... The Kama bros deserve to die just because of who their dad was, and Orion wants to kill Masamune despite letting Masashige (the ACTUAL guy who killed Izou's family - albeit on Masamune's orders, but definitely willingly) Kenshin, and I think Matteus and Gennai all redeem themselves and help out. I'm not even sure they know what they stand for, at this point.  That being said I kinda get where both Orion and Weed's crew are coming from in different ways. |

I love this scene so much, despite how heartbreaking it is. Both of the characters are flawed in really developed ways, which I can't imagine was intentional from Yoshi, but damn, sometimes he's just an accidental writing genius.
Its hard not to feel for Orion here. After all, he really owes Weed nothing.

I've been suggested to this thread for a translation request I had, I hope you don't mind hearing me out ^^ I've been really curious to learn more about Lydia and what Yoshi has to say about her. Ginga wikia is pretty limited on info about her, so I was hoping someone could translate some short scenes of her.
In GDW Volume 55,
pages 98-99
page 165
pages 173-176
pages 188-197
I'm not sure which scene has more interesting context to learn about or even if some of these are too long. Hopefully they're ok ^^; You could even just give a lil written summary if it's easier.

Oh my gosh ;-; I didn't realize just how many pages I requested! I feel so bad now, but I'm so so grateful for all of them :'D !!
It's really cool getting to see more into Lydia. I guess she got a bit treated like Cross, but actually pushed to fight more and stronger . I also really like her inspirational words about everyone having different roles in the last snippet group. I like her attitude a lot! And LOVE Kagetora's greeting to her LOL

Interesting. Lydia is a weird character. I'm never quite sure how I feel about her but it's probably the closest we're going to see to a feminist dog in Ginga.
