I'm not saying Weed had the right idea, I'm just saying I think he had good intentions in allowing Masamune to live. And I was more referencing what happened to Kamakiri in the anime, and that Weed was hoping for that kind of outcome, regardless of how unlikely that would have been. Basically all I'm saying is he had good a good intention, but a bad idea lol

Kyoushiro Shirogane eh? Nice name! His father killed one of his own little pups ;; Teru's dad I don't think killed anyone yet, but Kyoushiro's beaten AND killed before. Not sure if he's worthy of giving even a little second thought like Teru's dad. Cute scene with Weed and Gin. I like that the anime still used the warmth comment, even if it's at different moments  but dang Gin. "cornered like a mouse" sounds sinister LOL I'm not against a more sinister Gin. |

Kyou's dad didn't look like he'd have changed at all. He wasn't even scared or surprised when his sons tried to kill him. I dunno... it might've taken an extreme circumstance for him to come around. |

Too bad Kyou ended up feeling regret toward hating his abusing, murderous father. But I'm glad he didn't forgive him, I'm kinda sick of stories where people forgive their abusers when they're in their deathbeds or dead.

Feelings of regret towards an abusive parent aren't that far-fetched, honestly. But I'm with you kolasis, I'm really glad Kyou never explicitly SAYS he forgives his father - i just wish he didn't try to make Teru forgive his. This is where I am really disappointed in Weed's influence on Kyoushiro. It's toxic. No one should be made to forgive their abusers. It's their own personal choice.
