Orion Is Not Selected For Reconnaissance - (THE LAST WARS vol.4, pages 173-185)I know, I said that I wouldn't post any TLW snippets, but I wanted to post a snippet that I was curious about. It's also a snippet that sparked a fight between Orion and Unsai. In this snippet, Orion expresses impatience for the upcoming battle, so Unsai does not select him for reconnaissance. (If you don't know what that it, it basically means you're spying on enemy activity for strategic purposes.) |

Not a fan of Unsai's treatment or Orion in general, but it was an interesting read nonetheless!

Thank you so much for this, I didn't know that there was this much content that was omitted from the GDW anime!
A few comments
- Murder S is much more interesting than Sniper was in GNG. I also like the demon/grim reaper theme as a force making them strong.
- While I'd still not call Hougen a complex villain, he certainly is better than in the anime.
- GB's death is pretty tragic, poor guy was not a Fearless Fool like most of the cast, he always had to battle his own fear of death along with the enemies, which actually takes more courage than just blindly jumping into danger fearlessly.
- I can't believe Kyoshiro had an unrequited crush on Weed, that's adorable.
- I didn't expect that I'd find more obnoxious machoness celebration than in the anime but... the manga somehow tops it on that aspect...
