Hey yall. Since there aren't any Last Wars Chapters coming out yet, I figured I'd post a snippet or two then get started on the Russian Dog Arc. Tbh im with Masamune here. He was horribly injured and would have died in agony. Glad he got to die on his own terms, but poor Yamabiko and the other pups having to witness that x.x

Om my, Izô.  Soooo, Weed would let him die in pain instead of killing for mercy because he's in pain? Really the way to go there.... Sometimes it's more mercyful to kill then letting them live because of the injuries. Not gonna argue Masamune deserved that way. And Masamune's seven years?! Really? Meaning Terumune at least would've been ten years in my eyes. Didwe ever got to know? *checks* nope |

Tora In Weed's defense, I don't think he expected Masamune to rip out his own guts. I think he was hoping for a Kamakiri like scenario where Masamune was beat up to the point where he couldn't do any harm, but could still live.

But Kamakiri died of his wounds. And Masamune probably would have too. Weed is naive if he believes that after a fight like that (with either one of those dogs) that they could have survived without help.

This is not Kamakiri. This is his oldest son Akakama (Akakamakiri). He also have two others sons Kamajiro and Kurokamakiri.

This is not Kamakiri. This is his oldest son Akakama (Akakamakiri). He also have two others sons Kamajiro and Kurokamakiri. Oh, no, don't worry, we know! We just meant the scene in GDW's Hougen arc when Kamakiri was left to bleed to death and that that's okay to Weed standards than just putting him out his misery. Though I guess technically this was up to Hiro and Weed wasn't there, right..? So maybe it's not a good scene to reference to afterall... |

Crows don't usually try to peck things to death but idk if yoshi knows that. They'd def be smart enough to follow something that's dying so they can have first dibs though. It seems unlikely that he wouldn't die of his wounds, but you are right that it's not made very clear.
regardless, this scene shows that Yoshi understands that Weed's version of justice isn't completely morally sound. There's some grey area to it.

Didn't Orion crush the bad guy's head against Weed's orders? Weed had spared his life /before/ Orion made that crippling blow.

I know he forbids Orion from fighting Masamune AFTER the battouga to the big bad's head but does he before then as well? GDWO is probably the manga im least familiar with in Ginga. Which is a shame cause its also my favorite. |
