Hm... Hougen and Genba is confirmed four years old...
But in the manga, when Genba runs into Shigure, he calls him "kid". Unless Chutora died within 1-3 years, how could that be?
I guess I'd sum this up to everyone's terms for characters' age making no sense LOL; I know Tesshin's and Gin's ages are a popular topic, but I just saw this Shigure thing today while looking at the scans.

Well, the wikia says 4, but when I went back to try finding the specific spot, the guy who has a grudge on Hougen and Genba mentions '3 years ago' in volume 21. I thought that was the scene that says something like 'these four year old brothers', but I can't seem to find it now oxo;; I'm sorry! |

It was said both in series, and comic. It's also said that it was their first battle, in which they died. Maybe Chutora died in the battle against P4? Or maybe better yet the first skirmish with P4? That would make (some) sense. I wish someone would ask Yoshi  |

Where is this info from? Because I have to doubt this. It is said that Ken, Kagetora and Jouji played together with them when they were puppies, so they have to be around the same age.

Where is this info from? Because I have to doubt this. It is said that Ken, Kagetora and Jouji played together with them when they were puppies, so they have to be around the same age. Exactly. That's exactly why it makes no sense. My best guess is that Yoshi just forgot either that they should be the same ago, or that Shigure is only one or so year old. Whichever was stated first.  |

Kagetora and his brother was the one to play with Jouji and Ken, right? Nothing was said about his brothers Nobutora and Harutora, or his cousins Shigure, Shouji, Buru and Dodo?
Why I'm asking where is it said Shigure only is a year or so? O.o

^In volume 8, Ken tells Jouji that they're going to meet Kagetora's family, with who they all used to play as puppies. I assume that Ken is speaking about Kagetora's brothers and Chuutora's sons.
And Shigure is 3rd son, so he can't be the youngest.

^In volume 8, Ken tells Jouji that they're going to meet Kagetora's family, with who they all used to play as puppies. I assume that Ken is speaking about Kagetora's brothers and Chuutora's sons. And Shigure is 3rd son, so he can't be the youngest. Yea. And in vol 3, puppy Ken and Jouji is shown to play with puppy Kagetora when the meet Smith again. What I wonder more, is where it was said Shigure and brothers where just a year old? As stated in comments above I mean. |
